LightSkye LLC ("LightSkye," "we," "us," or "our") operates the LightSkye Leads platform ("Platform"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you access or use the Platform.

2.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, company name, and business address when you register for an account.
- Payment Information: Credit card details and billing information processed through Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.
- Profile Information: Any additional information you voluntarily provide in your user profile.
- Communications: Messages, support requests, and correspondence you send to us.
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, Lead purchases, credit transactions, and marketplace activity.
- Device and Log Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and access timestamps.
- Activity Logs: We maintain detailed logs of account actions including sign-ins, purchases, credit operations, and administrative actions for security and audit purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Platform and its features.
- Process transactions, manage your credit balance, and facilitate Lead purchases.
- Verify your identity and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and abuse.
- Communicate with you regarding your account, transactions, and Platform updates.
- Send transactional emails including verification links, purchase confirmations, and credit top-up receipts.
- Respond to your inquiries, support requests, and Lead Return requests.
- Monitor Platform usage for security, performance optimization, and service improvement.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Investigate and resolve disputes, including chargeback and payment disputes.
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We share information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Platform, including Stripe (payment processing), SMTP2GO (email delivery), and Supabase (database and authentication). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Protection of Rights: We may disclose information to protect the rights, property, or safety of LightSkye, our users, or others, including to enforce our Terms of Service and investigate fraud or chargeback disputes.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
5. Lead Data and Homeowner Information
The Platform processes homeowner Lead data that includes names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, and service preferences. As a Buyer, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Lead data is provided solely for the purpose of legitimate business outreach related to solar installation services.
- You will not share, resell, or distribute Lead information to third parties.
- You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding unsolicited communications, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM Act, and any state-level privacy laws.
- You are solely responsible for your compliance with data protection laws when contacting homeowners.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
- Row-Level Security (RLS) policies on all database tables to ensure users can only access data they are authorized to view.
- Hashing of verification tokens and security codes before storage.
- Role-based access controls for administrative functions.
- Regular monitoring of access logs and security events.
While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with Platform services. We may also retain information as required for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and enforcement of our agreements. Activity logs and transaction records are retained for audit and compliance purposes.
Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

The Platform integrates with third-party services. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data:

- Supabase: Provides database hosting, authentication, and backend services.
- SMTP2GO: Delivers transactional emails on our behalf.
- Google: Provides OAuth authentication for users who choose to sign in with Google.
